Ancient Egyptian Family
The family was the centre of life in Ancient Egypt because it reflected the Divine Order. From the beginning of the Egyptian civilization worship was given to the Divine Father and Mother and their offspring. Thus the 'trinity' of the Christian and other religions had its origins in the Egyptian Religion, which was ancient even 5,000 years ago. Wherever we look in Egypt we find pairs of Gods — male and female — always together. This duality was fundamental to creation which could not proceed without the cooperation of both sexes; a fact well-known to modern biologists, but which many of the Patriarchal religions which succeeded to the Wisdom of Ancient Egypt have lost sight of or ignore. One hidden aspect of this painting reveals that unless our lower material nature (the monkey) is controlled (the leash) we are unable to reach out to the Spiritual dimension (flying ducks).
Ancient Egyptian Family
This delightful picture of an Ancient Egyptian family at play has been lovingly hand-painted in gouache and watercolour, and is a completely original work of art — not a copy of a tomb painting. Although such scenes are commonplace in Ancient Egyptian Art, they conceal a deeper meaning that was revealed and explained in the Ancient Egyptian Mysteries.
